The next program and meeting of The Interfaith Alliance of Pennsylvania will take place (as usual, on the fourth Tuesday of the month) on TUESDAY OCTOBER 28, 2008 at 7 pm at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Harrisburg, 3301 N. Front St. ( at the intersection of Front and Vaughn), Harrisburg, PA. (Map) Dr. Elisabeth Tisdell. Associate Professor of Adult Education at Pennsylvania State University, Harrisburg, and Rabbi Carl Choper will be discussing the trialogue of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. This is part of a series of sessions that Dr. Tisdell is teaching, based on the book, The Tent of Abraham: Stories of Hope and Peace for Jews, Christians and Muslims. |
